The Brief

Shane & Claire came to us looking for something a little more unusual in a diamond engagement ring. Claire had always loved engagement rings with 3 diamonds in the centre and wanted to know could we help her to design a 3 stone engagement ring with a combination of oval and round diamonds. after some discussion we sketched out a diamond ring with a large oval centre stone flanked by a smaller round brilliant on either side in a band that was also set with round brilliant diamonds. We then also sketched a wedding band which matched the engagement band perfectly.

The Design

Taking this sketch together with the requirements for the materials (diamond cut,clarity and colour as well as precious metal etc) from Shane & Claire we precedded to build a 3D computer model of their design. This allowed us to produce images of the ring from all angles so that Shane & Claire could see exactly what their rings were going to look like. We then assembled the different images of the diamond rings and their details (size, diamond attributes, precious metal etc) into a single pdf that we call our Design Document and sent it to the couple for approval.

The Result

We were able to work with Donal on a design that we liked that was within our budget so we got something that was of high quality and design but at a much better price.
